Job Description
-
Review welding-related requirements and technical feasibility.
-
Develop, approve, and maintain WPS and PQR documents.
-
Ensure welding personnel are certified, trained, and periodically assessed.
-
Maintain and calibrate welding equipment.
-
Manage welding materials and consumables.
-
Plan and supervise welding activities and personnel allocation.
-
Oversee inspection and testing before, during, and after welding.
-
Maintain documentation for traceability.
-
Handle nonconformities and corrective actions.
-
Coordinate with HSE for safety, health, and environmental compliance.
Requirement
-
Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or quality-related field.
-
Experience: 5+ years in welding, QA/QC, or manufacturing/construction; CWI or CSWIP 3.1 certification.

Skills:
-
Deep knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, robotic welding).
-
Familiarity with standards (AWS, ASME, API, ISO).
-
Proficient in reading blueprints and welding symbols.
-
Skilled in VT, NDT, DT methods.
-
Ability to verify WPS and welder/operator qualifications.
