1- Education

2- Experience

Typically, companies require candidates must have work experience as a technical manager or in a related position. They often require candidates to have at least 5 years experience in information technical management, preferably in a related industry.

3- Competencies

To play technical manager role, you need should have some competencies, the following:

- Advanced knowledge of technology and engineering

- Ability to manage technical teams, as well as hire and train new technical staff

- Ability to keep up with technology and engineering advancements
