- Define, implement, and continuously improve engineering systems, KPIs, workflows, and documentation standards to ensure consistency, traceability, and technical integrity across all engineering activities.
- Establish disciplined engineering practices, including document control, version management, and data accuracy across drawings, specifications, and technical files.
- Own the creation, accuracy, and maintenance of all Bills of Materials (BOMs) within ERP or centralized data systems, ensuring correct structure, version control, and alignment with production and procurement needs.

- Lead root cause analysis for product-related issues (mechanical, electronic, performance, or build quality) and drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Drive product cost reduction through design optimization, alternative material evaluation, structural improvements, and engineering-led value engineering initiatives.
- Continuously improve product manufacturability through DFM (Design for Manufacturing) practices and engineering efficiency enhancements.
- Coordinate with Headquarters and R&D teams on new product design and development, ensuring complete technical transfer, prototype builds, design validation, and engineering readiness for mass production.
- Manage New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including prototype approval, pilot builds, verification phases, manufacturability assessment, and smooth handover to stable production.
- Oversee and conduct product testing, verification, and sample evaluation, including performance testing, reliability checks, and engineering approval prior to mass production release.
- Ensure full compliance with internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements before product approval.
- Manage all product certifications and approvals (UL, ETL, CE, Energy Star, and other applicable standards), including documentation preparation, sample submission, coordination with external laboratories, and timely renewals.
- Lead technical coordination across departments, ensuring alignment on engineering priorities and timely escalation and resolution of issues impacting quality, cost, or delivery.
- Initially work independently to establish the engineering function, with responsibility to build and develop the engineering team as the organization grows.
- Perform other engineering-related duties as assigned by the Directors, including support for audits, customer requirements, strategic initiatives, or special technical projects.
Requirement
