Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Supply Chain Manager (Manufacturing, $1200, ID17069):
- Define and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels, ensuring alignment with company goals and market trends.
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain processes and lead cross-functional initiatives to resolve bottlenecks.
- Provide strategic direction for chemicals and raw material procurement, ensuring alignment of purchasing volumes, vendor strategies, and market forecasts for cost-effective sourcing.
- Guide import-export operations, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, and optimize shipping schedules to reduce transit times and improve cost efficiency.
- Develop and maintain long-term strategic partnerships with key suppliers and logistics providers, establishing frameworks for performance assessments and quality audits.
- Lead digitalization and lean initiatives to optimize inventory, reduce lead times, and improve demand planning.
- Drive sustainability initiatives within supply chain and logistics processes.
- Guide and mentor the Purchasing and Logistics teams, collaborate across departments, and serve as the primary contact for resolving escalated supply chain and logistics issues.
Requirement
- Male/Female
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, logistics, or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and leading supply chain optimization projects
- Familiarity with supply chain software and tools (e.g., SAP, ERP systems)
- Fluent in English
