Job Description

Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for Supply Chain Deputy Manager/ Manager (Manufacturing, $1150, ID19749)
1.1. Export Production Planning Management
  • Monitor and manage material demand planning based on approved sales and production plans.

  • Develop, organize, and implement supply chain plans to ensure on-time project execution.

  • Establish, review, and adjust supply processes and procurement plans to meet production and export requirements.

1.2. Procurement Management
  • Collect and analyze market information, including pricing trends of raw materials and supplies.

  • Source and purchase materials and goods at competitive prices while building strategic partnerships with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency and market competitiveness.

  • Prepare pricing documentation, conduct annual supplier evaluations, and identify and assess new potential suppliers.

  • Execute procurement activities for raw materials, machinery, and equipment to support production needs.

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers.

1.3. Warehouse, Logistics & Transportation Management
  • Control inventory data and ensure accurate inbound and outbound stock records.

  • Manage distribution, transportation, and coordination of goods with suppliers and customers in line with approved plans, ensuring cost efficiency and minimizing unexpected expenses.

  • Take full responsibility for import–export operations from order placement to cargo delivery.

  • Coordinate and handle customs clearance and import–export procedures in compliance with established processes and regulations.

1.4. Export Sales Management
  • Manage export customers and maintain strong business relationships.

  • Oversee export–import policies and regulations related to the company’s products in target markets.

  • Draft and manage export-related contracts and documentation.

  • Prepare quotations for customers and handle export orders.

  • Respond to customer inquiries and manage requirements related to supplied goods.

1.5. Budget & Cost Management
  • Prepare and manage annual procurement and logistics/import–export budgets based on the company’s production and business plans.

  • Monitor and control budget utilization to ensure actual costs remain within approved budgets.

  • Analyze fluctuations in raw material prices, freight costs, taxes, and duties, and assess their impact on product costs.

  • Conduct cost assessments for imported materials, components, and goods to optimize cost structures.

  • Compare quotations and analyze suppliers’ pricing structures to support procurement decisions.

  • Coordinate with the Accounting/Finance Department on budgeting, cost accounting, and supplier payment control.

  • Provide periodic reports to the Board of Management on budget status, cost trends, and financial risks related to procurement and import–export activities.

  • Propose cost-saving initiatives and solutions to improve budget efficiency.

Requirement

  • Male/ Female: 30- 40 years old
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Import–Export, Logistics, Commerce, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management.
  • At least 3 years of managerial experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Import–Export.
  • Strong presentation and reporting skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive mindset, logical thinking, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Fluent English in all four skills (mandatory).
  • Japanese communication skills are an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
