Job Description

Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Shift Manager (Hospitality, Negotiable, ID17071)
  • Lead by example in appearance, attitude, professionalism, and fairness, ensuring smooth operations in areas such as the Front Desk, Guest Relations, Group Coordination, Operator, and Business Centre.
  • Act as the primary contact for guests seeking management support and resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with the Front Office Manager to report feedback, issues, and suggestions for improvement.
  • Accurately record and update the Duty Manager logbook with shift activities, incidents, and unresolved tasks.
  • Participate in daily briefings and weekly meetings to share updates, ideas, and solutions, fostering collaboration across the team.
  • Conduct staff briefings in the absence of the Assistant Front Office Manager, addressing concerns and providing guidance.
  • Ensure clear communication and coordination between all Front Office sections, housekeeping, and other departments to optimize guest experiences.
  • Oversee transportation arrangements, room requests, and prioritize cleaning schedules effectively.
  • Manage financial compliance and ensure adherence to audit procedures.
  • Organize efficient shift handovers and maintain high standards of operational continuity.

Requirement

  • Male or female
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar position within the Front Office department, preferably in a 5-star environment.
  • Proficient in English, with excellent communication skills in both spoken and written forms.
