Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Shift Manager (Hospitality, Negotiable, ID17071)
- Lead by example in appearance, attitude, professionalism, and fairness, ensuring smooth operations in areas such as the Front Desk, Guest Relations, Group Coordination, Operator, and Business Centre.
- Act as the primary contact for guests seeking management support and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain ongoing communication with the Front Office Manager to report feedback, issues, and suggestions for improvement.
- Accurately record and update the Duty Manager logbook with shift activities, incidents, and unresolved tasks.
- Participate in daily briefings and weekly meetings to share updates, ideas, and solutions, fostering collaboration across the team.
- Conduct staff briefings in the absence of the Assistant Front Office Manager, addressing concerns and providing guidance.
- Ensure clear communication and coordination between all Front Office sections, housekeeping, and other departments to optimize guest experiences.
- Oversee transportation arrangements, room requests, and prioritize cleaning schedules effectively.
- Manage financial compliance and ensure adherence to audit procedures.
- Organize efficient shift handovers and maintain high standards of operational continuity.
Requirement
- Male or female
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position within the Front Office department, preferably in a 5-star environment.
- Proficient in English, with excellent communication skills in both spoken and written forms.
