Job Description
-
Implement the hotel’s sales and marketing strategy in alignment with the marketing plan and departmental budget.

Develop both short-term and long-term sales plans covering all market segments, ensuring every market has clear actions and deadlines.

Set performance targets for all sales staff and provide direction on how to achieve these goals.

Assess new markets and analyze their needs in comparison to the hotel’s products and services.

Conduct feasibility studies to identify and develop new feeder markets.
-
Maintain a thorough understanding of the hotel’s products, strengths, and weaknesses; create programs to improve weak areas and capitalize on strengths.

Ensure full implementation of sales and marketing LSOPs.

Hold regular team discussions with sales staff and key executives to encourage healthy interaction and maintain a positive team environment.

Ensure joint sales call programs are executed and that sales time is used efficiently and productively.

Collaborate with qualified team members from other departments to continuously enhance sales skills and creativity.

Provide the General Manager with updates on sales progress, program outcomes, client feedback, team performance, and relevant developments within the hotel.

Conduct monthly counseling and review sessions with the sales team; act as a sales leader, oversee restrictions, monitor yield, and work closely with the Revenue Manager to optimize revenue.

Complete all forecasts and marketing reports promptly.

Communicate daily with the sales team regarding current tasks and upcoming projects.

Oversee the efficient operation of the reservations department.

Conduct daily sales and marketing briefings.

Supervise the market organization to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded while adhering to operational budget guidelines.

Manage, train, and develop the market account management team.

Serve as the liaison between hotels and the sales team, ensuring strong two-way communication to achieve revenue goals.

Promote the hotel’s facilities, outlets, and sales points; lead the sales effort and respond proactively to market trends to maximize profitability.

Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Requirement

Male/Female
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in any discipline.
-
Minimum of 3 years’ experience leading and managing a sales team within international organizations, preferably in the hospitality sector.

Strong English proficiency, with excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Results-oriented with proven leadership capability.
-
Creative thinker with solid people management skills.
-
Well-established industry contacts and strong professional networking.
