Job Description
Responsible for developing both local and international sales channels in close coordination with the General Manager.

Support the General Manager in the daily management of sales activities and public relations at the property level.

Build and maintain strong relationships with local tour operators, airlines, and destination management companies through regular and scheduled interactions.

Maintain close partnerships with the Hotel Association and the Tourism Board.
-
Focus on travel partner programs and maintain regular communication with airlines to stay updated on group travel trends.

Ensure the sales system is consistently updated with guest profiles, company details, call reports, and all relevant information.

Track all group and event files related to tour and travel in coordination with the management team.

Conduct regular follow-ups to support the Sales Team in securing business opportunities.

Ensure pre- and post-event summaries for group bookings are properly distributed to relevant departments and that pre- and post-conference meetings with clients and staff are conducted when necessary.

Maintain and update all advanced sales automation project files.

Achieve budgeted room nights, banquet sales, and overall contribution targets for the sales department.

Prepare weekly, monthly, and semi-annual group forecast reports.

Maintain an up-to-date tour and travel mailing list to ensure contact information is accurate and current.

Work alongside the General Manager to determine pricing strategies for various market segments.

Monitor market trends to identify countries with rising visitor numbers and adjust strategies when required.

Foster professional relationships with all internal departments.

Perform sales, marketing, and related duties, including special assignments directed by the General Manager.

Submit monthly sales call reports, covering total number of calls, key activities, performance vs. budget and targets, major bookings, future prospects, entertainment reports, top accounts, competitor analysis, and upcoming projects.

Actively participate in sales meetings and briefings, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.

Assist the General Manager in preparing market analyses, sales targets, marketing plans, special programs, and other reports for hotel management and ownership.

Ensure grooming standards are always appropriate when meeting clients or appearing in public hotel areas.

Support all activities related to site inspections, media visits, guest relations, and client care—including post-departure follow-up.

Communicate the spa concept to staff and ensure implementation of healthy living programs.

Perform additional tasks assigned by management.

At least a Bachelor’s degree in any field.

Minimum 4 years of sales experience.

Strong interpersonal communication skills, with proficiency in English and computer literacy.

Highly driven toward achieving results, with solid overall sales abilities and effective telephone communication skills.

Broad understanding of group room functions and space management.

Proven capability in managing the group sales process and related strategies.

Ability to maximize revenue by upselling and promoting creative food and beverage packages.

Good understanding of both individual and team targets, with the ability to consistently achieve them.

Knowledge of timing strategies required for revenue management initiatives.
-
Familiarity with all hotel departments and their functions.
