QA Director (Garment, Open for Expat, Chinese Speaker)

Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company’s quality assurance strategy across all production stages.

Supervise QA teams across multiple departments and ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards.

Establish and maintain robust inspection systems, including AQL procedures, to ensure product consistency and customer satisfaction.

Collaborate with production, technical, and merchandising teams to resolve quality issues and optimize processes.

Conduct root cause analysis and corrective action planning for quality deviations.

Interface with Japanese brand clients to ensure alignment with their quality expectations and standards.

Provide hands-on guidance in sample sewing and technical evaluation when needed.

Monitor factory performance and drive quality KPIs across facilities with ≥600 employees.

Minimum 8 years of experience in quality management within large-scale garment manufacturing (single factory size ≥600 workers).

In-depth knowledge of technical standards for garment sewing processes, including but not limited to:

• Shirts, dresses, skirts, trousers, trench coats, jackets, blazers, padded garments, and down coats.

Ability to sew samples independently and evaluate technical workmanship.

Strong understanding of AQL inspection systems and Japanese apparel brand quality standards.

Proven experience working with and managing quality for Japanese fashion brands.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Fluent in Chinese. English language proficiency is a plus.

Degree in Textile Engineering, Garment Technology, or related field.

Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.

Familiarity with international compliance standards
