Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Purchasing Manager (Hospitality):
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost efficiency and inventory levels.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and quality products.
- Manage purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements in accordance with company standards.
- Collaborate with various departments (Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Maintenance, etc.) to understand purchasing requirements and forecast needs.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely replenishment to avoid shortages or overstock.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
- Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and improved procurement processes.
- Lead and develop the purchasing team to achieve departmental goals.
- Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management.
- Resolve supplier issues and disputes efficiently to maintain positive business relationships.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, contract management, and inventory control.
- Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English.
