Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for Purchasing Manager ($2000, ID16813):
Procurement Process Management:
Procurement Process Management:
- Develop and implement standardized procurement processes to streamline operations from order placement to delivery.
- Maintain comprehensive process documentation and continuously seek opportunities for improvement
- Proactively monitor market trends and price fluctuations for materials and products.
- Collaborate in data gathering and analysis to secure optimal pricing from suppliers.
- Generate regular reports on price changes and identify potential cost-saving measures.
- Lead and nurture supplier relationships, particularly for direct material suppliers, through a continuous improvement approach.
- Develop, evaluate, and enhance supplier performance metrics.
- Contribute to the drafting, review, and management of supplier contracts.
- Ensure contracts are current and align with agreed-upon terms and conditions.
- Monitor contract compliance and adherence to company procurement policies.
- Guarantee procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.
- Maintain thorough documentation for audits and compliance reviews.
- Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks, such as price volatility and supplier reliability issues.
- Oversee the creation, tracking, and completion of purchase orders.
- Provide regular updates on order status, supplier performance, and potential delays.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records.
- Foster strong collaboration with finance, technical, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and legal standards.
Requirement
- Under 45 years old, Male/female.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 3+ years of procurement experience, with a focus on direct materials.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational, negotiation, vendor and time management skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct cost analysis.
