Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested manufacturing company, now looking for a Purchasing Leader (Manufacturing, 1000$, ID16877):
- Supervise and guide purchasing and shipping teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials/finished goods, coordinating with receiving and accounting departments for on-time orders and payments.
- Analyze purchasing, shipping needs, and supplier/customer capacities to develop effective plans.
- Monitor supplier market conditions, ensuring competitive pricing and cost savings.
- Collaborate with PPC to align shipments with customer demands and schedules.
- Maintain relationships with key suppliers and ensure regular evaluations.
- Manage inventory to ensure sufficient raw materials and resources for production.
- Negotiate with suppliers on pricing and contract terms, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Oversee quality control, resolving issues and ensuring supplier performance meets company standards.
- Ensure compliance with purchasing/shipping regulations for timely, cost-effective transactions.
- Manage procurement tasks, reporting, and effectively use ERP systems.
Requirement
- Male/Female, 30 - 40 years old
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Commerce, or International Economics.
- At least 8-10 years of experience in purchasing/shipping, preferably in a foreign or Japanese company.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Fluent in English.
