Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Project Supervisor (Electronics/ Automotive, Attractive Salary, ID 16264):
- Collaborate with foreign project leader on all assigned projects, ensuring support for timely completion within budget and scheduling constraints.
- Prepare comprehensive project budgets, capital expenditure forecasts, status reports, and other essential documentation for effective project management.
- Communicate verbally and in writing to ensure all teams are aligned toward timely project completion. Convey technical details and concepts to both engineering and non-engineering stakeholders across multiple locations.
- Lead the design process to align with market-driven guidelines, ensuring cost efficiency, timely delivery, reliability, and suitability for high-volume manufacturing.
- Evaluate and select optimal design execution alternatives to meet specification objectives and facilitate the transition to mass production.
- Organize and oversee design and safety reviews to secure necessary approvals for advancing product development phases.
- Adhere to all procedures related to new product development and design output, as well as processes from non-engineering departments that impact project flow.
- Maintain a comprehensive view of project scope with minimal guidance, scheduling and documenting project meetings effectively.
- Monitor project timelines to ensure compliance and regularly present project status updates.
- Propose enhancements to existing standards and procedures as needed, while staying informed about competitive offerings and the broader business landscape in the power tool industry.
- Identify potential project risks and implement strategies for risk mitigation.
Requirement
- Female/ Male; Under 45 years old.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field (Mechanical, Industrial, Materials Science, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline) is required; a postgraduate degree is preferred.
- 7 - 10 years of experience in a related field, with at least 2 years in engineering project management (electronics/ automotive products).
- Comprehensive knowledge of product development processes, production technologies, and quality standards is essential.
- Must demonstrate strong managerial skills complemented by technical expertise, including a solid grasp of planning, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Ability to conduct detailed analyses independently or recognize when to seek specialized expertise for optimal results.
