Project Manager (Automotive)

The Project Manager is responsible for leading cross-functional teams to manage new industrial projects in compliance with Hutchinson’s internal control rules and IATF 16949 standards. Reporting directly to the Plant Director, the role involves coordinating with Sales, R&D, Supply Chain, Industrialization, and Quality departments to meet SQCD (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery) targets.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing customer relationships and ensuring project alignment with Hutchinson Excellence System (Visible Planning, OBEYA)

• Overseeing product design, validation, logistics, risk analysis, and quality planning

• Leading change management for product/process evolution

• Standardizing project management tools and databases for Hutchinson Vietnam

• Organizing project reviews, reporting progress, and ensuring data accuracy

• Promoting safety culture and environmental compliance

• Preparing and passing internal and customer audits

• Education: Engineering degree (Mechanical preferred)

• Experience: 3–7 years in project engineering/management within an industrial environment

• Languages: Fluent in English (mandatory); Korean or Chinese is a plus

• Skills:
