Production Planning Manager (Garment)

Production Scheduling & Master Planning:

• Formulate, monitor, and adjust master production schedules across seasonal, monthly, weekly, and daily operational horizons.

• Strategically assign purchase orders to sewing lines based on factory capacity, line efficiency, specialized operator skill sets, and delivery timelines.

Capacity Optimization & Operational Governance:

• Drive operational metrics including line loading, WIP control, lead time reduction, SMV/SAH targets, and overall line efficiency.

• Proactively identify potential bottlenecks in material availability, manpower, and line capacity; implement swift corrective actions to mitigate delivery risks.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Team Leadership:

• Direct and mentor a dedicated planning team of 6–7 staff members to align daily outputs with overall business targets.

• Orchestrate seamless workflow synchronization between Merchandising, Production, IE, Cutting, Sewing, Finishing, QA, Warehouse, and Materials units.

• Ensure all raw materials, trim approvals, technical packs, and pre-production samples are verified prior to production setup.

Qualifications & Professional Background:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Management, Supply Chain, Garment Technology, Textile Engineering, or related fields.

• Ages under 45. Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a Production Planning Manager / PPC Lead role within the garment/apparel industry.

• Demonstrated track record in large-scale garment manufacturing plants operating multiple sewing lines and handling complex, multi-order volumes.

Technical Knowledge & Metrics Mastery:

• In-depth understanding of end-to-end garment manufacturing workflows from raw material intake to final packing and shipment.

• Solid technical command of capacity planning, line loading models, SMV/SAH calculation, WIP tracking, lead time analysis, and efficiency benchmarking.

• Prior experience in FOB business models and direct collaboration with international retail buyers is strongly preferred.

Leadership & Soft Skills:

• Strong leadership, team-building, and conflict-resolution skills.

• Advanced analytical problem-solving capabilities and cross-departmental alignment expertise.

Language Skills:

• Fluent in English (both verbal and written) for regular reporting to the foreign General Manager and direct communication with international stakeholders.
