Job Description

Our client is a foreign-invested manufacturing company, now looking for a Product Engineer (Electronics, $1000, ID-16700)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., design, manufacturing, marketing) to develop new products.
  • Create detailed technical drawings, models, and specifications using CAD software.Perform prototyping and testing to validate designs and make necessary adjustments.
  • Ensure products meet quality standards by conducting testing and inspections.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during development or production.
  • Work with suppliers to select materials and components that meet performance, cost, and sustainability goals.
  • Analyze material properties and cost-effectiveness to make informed decisions about product design.
  • Work with manufacturing teams to ensure designs can be produced efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Assist with the transition from prototype to production, addressing any challenges that arise during scaling.
  • Lead or contribute to the planning, budgeting, and scheduling of product development projects.Monitor progress and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Identify areas for improvement in both the product and the development process.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend design innovations.

Requirement

  • Under 40 years old.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering in Mechanical/optical/electrical Engineering.
  • Having at least 2 years of relevant experience in engineering or process positions.
  • English, Chinese communication, good at mail in the form of written communication.
  • Willing to long-term overseas business trips (6 months to 1 year)
