Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Procurement Manager (Furniture, $2000, ID17016)
- Responsible for sourcing and selecting quality suppliers for the company’s production activities.
- Develop new suppliers and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand current and future material and goods needs, and develop plans, cost estimates, and schedules to integrate these needs into the procurement process.
- Determine the quantity and timing of deliveries.
- Create and enforce purchasing policies and procedures both internally and with suppliers.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate procurement-related risks.
- Analyze price trends and market conditions to anticipate shifts in the buyer-supplier power balance.
- Perform cost analysis, scenario planning, and market benchmarking to optimize procurement processes.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual reports on procurement performance, ongoing activities, progress on improvements, challenges, solutions, and suggestions for further enhancements.
- Guide, train, and evaluate the procurement team, promoting professional development within the team.
Requirement
- Male/Female.
- College degree or higher
- At least 5 years of experience in Purchasing, experience in Furniture is a plus.
- Proficiency in English (communication).
