Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Process Engineer (PCB, 1.200 USD, ID 17642):
- Collaborate with the documentation team to create and publish standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for welding product lines, following provided guidelines.
- Take ownership of activities related to process standardization, continuous improvement, SOP implementation, and enhancement of product quality and production performance through lean manufacturing principles.
- Deliver training sessions and operational guidance to workers and line leaders on SOPs and process inspections.
- Analyze root causes of issues arising in the production line and in the field; propose and implement effective solutions to resolve them.
- Oversee the setup of new production lines and improve existing ones. Responsible for selecting suitable machinery, maintaining equipment, and designing/building jigs, fixtures, and testing tools. Handle regular calibration of measuring instruments (monthly, quarterly, yearly).
- Actively participate in the New Product Development (NPD) process, contributing to each development phase, ensuring deliverables and milestone reviews are met.
- Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) for manufacturing processes and documentation. As the technical process owner, execute and release updates to production documentation.
- Provide instructions for operating machinery, assembly equipment, and tools. Guide on proper maintenance procedures and ensure maintenance activities are followed and monitored.
- Participate in creating SMT machine profiles for new product introductions and monitor parameters such as soldering tank temperature during lead dipping.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electromechanical Integration, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledgeable in production processes and quality control.
- Familiarity with SMT machines, soldering/dipping equipment, process engineering, and circuit board schematics.
- Good at English.
