Pricing Deputy Manager (Logistics)

1. Team Leadership & Development

• Assign tasks, monitor team performance, and conduct regular evaluations.

• Coach and develop team members to enhance capabilities and productivity.

• Standardize pricing procedures to ensure data accuracy and operational discipline.

• Coordinate effectively with Sales, Booking, Customer Service, and other departments.

2. Strategic Pricing Management

• Develop and execute pricing strategies for the US and Canada markets.

• Collaborate with HQ Pricing and Trade teams to align regional strategies.

• Monitor market trends, freight rate movements, and competitor activities to adjust pricing proactively.

• Provide management with insights on pricing strategy, margin control, and market opportunities.

3. Carrier & Vendor Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, NVOCCs, and vendors.

• Negotiate freight rates and space allocation to secure competitive advantages.

• Escalate and resolve key issues with carriers to support major accounts effectively.

4. Pricing Operations & Analysis

• Ensure accurate maintenance of rate sheets and pricing data in the system.

• Verify cost structures and contract pricing accuracy.

• Optimize pricing workflows to improve turnaround time and efficiency.

• Support internal teams in resolving pricing-related issues.

• Analyze profitability, discount structures, win/loss ratios, and market share performance.

• Male/Female: under 45 years old
• University graduate in majors such as Foreign Trade, International Economics, Maritime Transport, Supply Chain, Logistics
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position in the forwarding, sea freight, or logistics industry
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with shipping lines on Trans-Pacific routes
• Comprehensive knowledge of sea freight and pricing
• Fluent in English
