Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Polymer Research and Development Engineer ($1900, ID20068)
- Develop and optimize formulations for composite materials
- Design and execute material property testing plans
- Set up and optimize extrusion process parameters
- Demonstrate solid understanding of injection molding operations
- Support scale-up activities and mass production processes
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of compounding-related issues
- Coordinate effectively with external compounding vendors
Requirement
- Male/Female, under 45 years old
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Polymer Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related fields
- Minimum 10 years of R&D experience in the chemical industry, with mandatory expertise in Polymer Compounding
- Preferred experience in companies producing compounds for automotive and home appliance applications
- Solid understanding of standard testing methods (ISO/ASTM)
- Good communication skills in English
