Job Description

Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Plant Manager (Gas, Negotiation, ID 18284):
  • Support the General Manager in coordinating and streamlining daily operations.
  • Provide strategic advice on addressing emerging challenges and ensure directives are effectively communicated and implemented across departments.
  • Exercise delegated authority to represent the Director in critical decision-making processes.
  • Supervise the organization’s production activities, oversee operational teams, and establish comprehensive production schedules and timelines.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensure the availability of machinery, equipment, and materials, and optimize facility layout for maximum efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Board of Directors to shape the organization’s vision and long-term strategic plans.
  • Identify, evaluate, and report to the Board on internal and external matters impacting the organization.
  • Serve as a subject-matter advisor to the Board on all organizational operations.
  • Promote strong collaboration between the Board, the Executive Director, and staff members.
  • Represent the organization as a spokesperson alongside the Board Chair.
  • Handle official correspondence on behalf of the Board where appropriate, and jointly with the Board when necessary.
  • Participate in community initiatives to enhance the organization’s profile and reputation.
  • Formulate operational plans aligned with the organization’s strategic direction, including specific objectives and targets.
  • Ensure organizational operations consistently meet the expectations of clients, the Board, and funders.
  • Direct the smooth and efficient daily functioning of the organization.
  • Draft new policies for Board approval, establish implementation procedures, and review existing policies annually, recommending revisions as needed.
  • Maintain secure and confidential storage of personnel, client, donor, and volunteer records.
  • Provide logistical support to the Board by preparing meeting agendas and documentation.
  • Supervise the planning, execution, and evaluation of organizational programs and services.
  • Ensure all programs and services contribute to the mission and reflect the priorities set by the Board.
  • Oversee daily program delivery to maintain or enhance quality standards.
  • Manage the planning, implementation, and evaluation of special projects.
  • Determine staffing requirements to meet organizational and program needs.
  • Administer HR policies, practices, and procedures, including developing job descriptions for all employees.
  • Foster a safe, positive, and legally compliant workplace culture.
  • Lead recruitment, interviews, and selection of qualified candidates aligned with the organization’s mission.
  • Guarantee proper staff onboarding and provide necessary training.
  • Implement performance management systems, ensuring regular monitoring and annual appraisals.
  • Mentor and coach staff to enhance individual and team performance.
  • Apply appropriate disciplinary measures when required, and conduct lawful and fair terminations when necessary.
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, keeping them updated on organizational activities and changes in the community served.
  • Build and sustain collaborative relationships with community groups, donors, policymakers, and partner organizations to support strategic goals.
  • Risk Management.

Requirement

  • Gender & Age: Male, born between 40 - 50 years old
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Automation, or Industrial Management.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience as a Plant Manager in the gas sector.
  • Extensive background in manufacturing environments with strong people management exposure.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken);
  • Key Skills:
    • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
    • Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
    • Ability to work effectively under high pressure.
