Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a NPD Project Manager (Plastic, $1900, ID21608)
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Manage new product development and existing product improvement projects for sanitary products, including fittings, inlet/outlet valves, concealed cisterns and related components.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, milestones and deliverables; monitor progress and ensure timely completion.
- Prepare and present project milestones and deliverables in accordance with the company's Project Management process.
- Ensure project objectives and product specifications defined by the Marketing team and approved through the internal GR1 process are properly implemented.
- Monitor project budgets, costs and resources in line with the requirements defined.
- Ensure product quality objectives established at the beginning of the project are achieved.
- Identify project risks, deviations and potential delays; implement corrective actions and preventive measures where necessary.
- Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues or escalate critical/blocking points to the Management Team.
- Provide regular project updates and report significant issues, risks and deviations to Management on a weekly basis.
- Maintain effective communication and working relationships with internal and external customers/stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure effective collaboration among Engineering, R&D, Marketing, Quality, Manufacturing, Purchasing and other relevant functions.
- Support continuous improvement of project management processes and product development activities.
Requirement
- Male, 35-40 years old
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, General Engineering or a related technical field.
- From 5 years of experience in Project Management, New Product Development, Product Development or Engineering Project Management in manufacturing.
- Good technical knowledge of Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulics and Plastics.
- Good command of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong project planning, organization and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English.
