Job Description
We are seeking a Music Content Reviewer (Japanese & English):
- Review and validate audio content using the Content Review tool to ensure compliance with DSP asset and metadata guidelines (e.g., Apple, Spotify, YouTube).
- Identify and escalate problematic releases (e.g., infringing or fraudulent content, improper ISRC usage, misuse of likeness to well-known artists) to the departmental managers.
- Report any bugs or technical issues within the Content Review tool to the management team.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to resolve issues and ensure smooth execution of content review workflows.
- Perform other related tasks and duties as assigned.
Requirement
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an operations or supply chain role within the entertainment industry, or equivalent education/experience.
- Native Japanese speaker with conversational English proficiency; knowledge of a third language is a plus.
- Familiarity with music metadata standards and practices in the context of digital distribution or streaming platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye/ear for audio and visual content. Knowledge of independent or niche music genres is a bonus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong follow-up and task completion abilities.
- Ability to manage high volumes of work with consistency and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of copyright regulations and the current music industry landscape.
- Experience with metadata guidelines from iTunes and Spotify is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working with a record label, music distributor, or digital service content management systems such as iTunes Connect, YouTube CMS, VEVO Backstage, or Spotify Scatman.
