Job Description

Dream Job Alert! We're hiring a MICE Sales Manager for a foreign investment company:
1. People Management:
  • Plan, assign, and oversee daily sales team activities to ensure adequate staffing and productivity.
  • Develop and enhance team performance through coaching, feedback, and setting performance and development goals.
  • Train staff to ensure compliance with company standards and deliver excellent service.
  • Foster a positive work environment and encourage teamwork across departments.
  • Recommend or take HR-related actions as necessary.
2. Sales & Business Development:
  • Develop and implement revenue, sales, and marketing strategies for both domestic and international MICE markets to maximize revenue, profitability, and ROI.
  • Monitor sales performance and ensure meeting room bookings and food & beverage sales meet targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, Destination Management Companies (DMCs), and Professional Conference Organizers (PCOs).
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and secure profitable deals.
3. Financial Management:
  • Assist in preparing the department’s annual budget and setting sales goals.
  • Monitor budget and control expenses, focusing on food & beverage and labor costs.
  • Manage sales collateral inventory and distribution.
4. Guest Experience:
  • Collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure outstanding guest experiences for MICE clients.
  • Analyze sales and marketing data to support new product development and promotional activities.
  • Coordinate with advertising agencies and execute marketing campaigns.
5. Additional Responsibilities:
  • Build and lead an engaged, high-performing sales team.
  • Organize familiarization tours and site inspections for potential clients.
  • Travel as needed to promote the hotel and develop new business.
  • Participate in preparing bids and tenders for MICE contracts.

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in sales or MICE management.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving, organizational, and training abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
