Job Description

Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Merchandising Manager (Garment, $1.600, ID 16868):
  • Ensure the team follows standard procedures, meets performance standards, and collects feedback to improve capabilities.
  • Handle product requirements, status updates, and customer inquiries throughout the order and production process. Ensure communication with relevant departments, monitor quality, and work with logistics to guarantee timely delivery.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to meet special customer needs.
  • Foster customer loyalty and satisfaction through continuous monitoring and improvements in customer relations.
  • Fabric Ordering: Manage fabric orders and ensure cost-effective use to reduce storage costs.
  • Sub-materials Ordering: Ensure proper material ordering and cost management, collaborate with departments to find substitutes when needed.
  • Fabric Problems: Resolve fabric delivery issues and coordinate with suppliers and operations for adjustments.
  • Promote understanding of customer needs through active communication, visits, and research.
  • Encourage a proactive service approach, continuously improving service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop programs to instill customer-service pride and commitment within the team.
  • Cross-functional Work Processes: Ensure smooth collaboration between departments for timely production and delivery.
  • Order Communication: Ensure accurate, timely communication of customer orders across departments.
  • Internal Relationships: Build strong internal relationships and improve internal customer satisfaction.
  • Business Context: Align team efforts with broader business goals.
  • Teamwork and Performance Management: Regularly assess team performance, set clear goals, and provide continuous feedback and development support.
  • Recognition and Reward: Acknowledge team achievements and recommend reward initiatives.
  • De-selection and Appeals Process: Address underperformance and grievances within the team with a structured process.

Requirement

  • Female/ Male; Under 45 years old.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications in customer service or garment manufacturing are a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in customer service management, preferably within the garment or apparel industry.
  • Good at English.
