Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer ($700, ID 19563):
- Perform technical tasks with autonomy, proposing and developing effective solutions for complex engineering issues.
- Design and update 3D vehicle models and 2D production drawings; prepare AutoCAD cutting files and secure necessary approvals.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant safety and engineering standards (Australian Standards and/or ISO).
- Develop machine documentation, including operator manuals, maintenance manuals, and spare-parts manuals.
- Manage assigned design projects to ensure they meet both timeline and technical requirements.
- Design Hydraulic System, review and update hydraulic schematics, verify hydraulic component specifications, and create accurate mechanical and hydraulic BOMs.
- Provide technical support to customers by resolving on-site machine issues when required.
- Collaborate with internal departments to support engineering activities and prepare documents such as QC check sheets and work instructions.
Requirement
- Male, Aged 25-35 years old.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or related fields.
- 3–5 years of experience in equipment design; experience in mining or construction machinery design is an advantage.
- Good command of English for communication.
- Proficient in Inventor, AutoCAD, ANSYS, and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel & Word).
