Manufacturing Manager (Automotive, Chinese in China)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operational Control & Quality Management:

  • Direct manufacturing operations across the shopfloor to ensure the timely fulfillment of overall factory production schedules and rework tasks.

  • Drive quality assurance protocols by promoting process self-inspections and strict adherence to finished goods quality parameters.

  • Implement 6S & 3R frameworks to maintain a safe, organized, and standardized working environment.

  • Oversee workforce allocation, line balancing, and operator deployment to optimize overall line productivity.

  • Manage the inventory, storage, and consumption of manufacturing tools, auxiliary materials, and production consumables.

• Efficiency Enhancement, Equipment & Cost Management:

  • Spearhead Monozukuri methodologies and continuous improvement projects to improve factory throughput while reducing scrap rates.

  • Monitor preventative equipment maintenance schedules to mitigate unscheduled machinery downtime and stabilize operations.

  • Partner with cross-functional departments to resolve operational bottlenecks and operational abnormalities.

  • Control operational spending within the allocated production budget.

• System Compliance & CSR Leadership:

  • Translate corporate objectives into operational plans for departmental execution and performance monitoring.

  • Maintain full compliance with ISO/IATF quality standards according to designated organizational responsibilities.

  • Uphold Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) requirements across labor standards, occupational health and safety, environmental sustainability, and ethical business practices.

OB REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Associate degree (Junior college) or higher in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Systems, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Professional Background:

  • 2 to 3 years of demonstrated experience in a Production Manager capacity within the manufacturing sector.

  • Practical expertise in operating and managing automatic production lines.

• Technical & Managerial Skills:

  • Proficiency in lean manufacturing tools (Monozukuri, 6S, 3R) and quality system frameworks (ISO/IATF).

  • Strong team leadership, workforce planning, and cross-departmental problem-solving capabilities.

• Language: Professional English proficiency for management communication and reporting.
