Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) serves as the top executive of UCLA English Academy, holding full responsibility for guiding, managing, and overseeing the academy’s entire organizational structure.
As the legal representative, the CEO is accountable to all relevant authorities for every operation and activity conducted by the academy.
The role involves setting strategic direction, ensuring operational effectiveness, maintaining high academic standards, and promoting sustainable growth. The CEO supervises all departments—including Academics, Operations, Marketing, HR, and Finance—to guarantee the delivery of quality English education and to uphold the academy’s reputation in the education sector.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership

Formulate and implement the academy’s long-term vision, mission, and growth plans.

Establish annual business and academic objectives aligned with organizational values.

Lead the development of new programs, partnerships, and expansion initiatives.

Academic Excellence
-
Guide academic strategy in partnership with the Academic Manager and teaching team.

Ensure the quality of instruction, curriculum relevance, and student satisfaction.

Foster innovative teaching approaches and active student engagement.

Business Operations & Finance
-
Oversee overall operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.
-
Manage budgeting, financial planning, and expense control.
-
Review and optimize cost structures while maintaining service quality.

Marketing, Branding & Public Relations
-
Serve as the official representative of the academy in communications and public engagements.
-
Direct marketing campaigns and student recruitment strategies in coordination with the Marketing Lead.

Maintain consistent branding, reputation, and media presence.

People & Culture
-
Cultivate a collaborative and high-performing organizational culture.
-
Lead, mentor, and assess department heads and key managers.
-
Oversee recruitment, retention, and professional development of teaching and administrative staff.

Stakeholder Management

Establish and maintain partnerships with schools, organizations, and communities.

Communicate with investors, partners, and other key stakeholders.

Provide regular reporting on organizational performance and health.
Requirement
Male/Female
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree from a Vietnamese government-accredited university in Business Administration, Education Management, English Teaching, English Language, or related fields.

Vietnamese English proficiency certificate at Level 3 (B1+) or higher according to the Vietnam 6-level framework.
Note: International certificates such as TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, etc., do not substitute for the required Vietnamese English proficiency level.
Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of verified management experience in the education sector, supported by written confirmation from previous employers.

Preferred: Experience in operations management, P&L oversight, or managing teams of 10–30+ staff.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Good understanding of Vietnam’s education market and student/parent expectations.

English fluency is an advantage.
