Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for an Managering Director (Construction, $2700, ID16460)
- In charge of the work and resources of the company in its day-to-day operations and ensure it achieves its business objectives.
- Set up company’s short-term and long-term goals that is aligned with the Regional and Group’s Vision, Mission and goals.
- Run and execute the company’s business strategies, that is in line with the Regional and Group strategy, to attain the goals of the Board and the Shareholders.
- Make and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective and efficient operations and market development opportunities.
- Solve problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth.
- Well handle all the submitted reports by the Department Managers to reward performance, prevent issues and resolve problems.
- Operate and maintain total quality management system throughout the company to ensure that the best possible products and services are provided to customers.
- Forcast the company’s financial performance, investments, and other business ventures, holding the accountability for the business profitability to meet and exceed budget targets.
- Direct and manage people, and all people-management related process (recruiting, performance management, coaching), identify and build key capabilities, talent pipeline and talent development).
- Make sure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated to all stakeholders and ensure compliance.
- Ensure company’s statutory and regulatory compliance.
- Communicate and maintain trust relationships with shareholder, business partners and authorities.
- Represent the company in negotiations with customers, suppliers, government departments and other key contacts to secure for the most effective contract term.
- Represent the company and participate in industry-related events or associations that will enhance the Managing Director’s leadership skills, organization’s reputation, and potential success.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales or operations management role, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of driving sales growth.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in both Vietnamese and English (written and spoken).
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with experience managing key client accounts.
- Knowledge of the construction industry in Vietnam, including market trends and competition.
- Ability to develop and implement business strategies and manage budgets effectively
