Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Manager of Finance and Accounting (Manufacturing, 1600$, ID16398)
- Oversee the completion and coordination of both internal and external financial reports, including management reports, cost reports, financial statement audits & reviews, and tax filings for the FA session and the entire company.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and Vietnamese GAAP (VAS).
- Coordinate and ensure the timely preparation and submission of required reports to local authorities such as the Tax Department, Financial Department, and the Central Bank in order to adhere to regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with Tax authorities during tax audits and provide advisory to the Board of Directors on minimizing tax penalties and arrears.
- Ensure the implementation of effective internal controls and the reconciliation of cash management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounts.
- Supervise the smooth operation of accounting functions, including purchasing, sales, exports, revenues, expenses, fixed assets, AR, AP, salaries, and taxes.
- Develop and mentor accounting staff, monitor their performance, and provide feedback and guidance as necessary.
- Collaborate closely with other departments and teams on financial and budgeting matters to ensure effective financial oversight across the company.
- Prepare and manage budgeting and forecasting activities for the fiscal year.
- Coordinate the annual audit process with external auditors.
- Ensure timely financial and internal reporting to the Board of Directors and Headquarters.
- Monitor cash flow regularly to guarantee adequate liquidity for the company's operations.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Board of Directors.
Requirement
- Male/Female.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Auditing, or Finance. A Chief Accountant certification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Chief Accountant or in a similar role within a manufacturing company.
- CPA or ACCA qualification is an advantage.
- In-depth understanding of VAS, IFRS, tax regulations, and transfer pricing.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and process improvements.
- Knowledge of EPE (Export Processing Enterprise) management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proven leadership abilities with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
