Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for an Internal Audit Manager (Hospitality, 1800 USD, ID16661)
- nsure compliance with gaming laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Oversee general accounting and auditing for gaming & non-gaming revenues, including daily performance reporting and reconciliations.
- Review and approve journal entries, ensuring accurate and timely general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare, analyze, and improve daily reports and audit efficiency.
- Supervise, hire, train, and evaluate accounting/audit staff.
- Manage the month-end and annual closing process, generating financial reports in a timely manner.
- Work closely with management, internal compliance, auditors, and regulatory agencies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance accuracy and reduce costs.
- Ensure accurate tax filings with regulatory bodies.
- Coordinate with IT and external auditors to resolve system issues and ensure accurate reporting.
- Participate in monthly financial reviews with department heads and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain and improve internal controls across departments, including compliance with MICS and ICS.
- Lead staff training and development to improve team effectiveness and ensure compliance.
- Communicate with external agencies and represent the organization in relevant meetings
Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Auditing, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of supervisory experience, preferably in the gaming or resort industry.
- CPA or equivalent qualification required; Big Four experience preferred.
- Fluent in Vietnamese and English (written and verbal).
