Import-Export & Logistics Manager (Garment)

Oversee all shipping activities, including import of raw materials and export of finished products.

Manage shipping schedules to meet strict delivery deadlines.

Develop and implement efficient processes to ensure shipment accuracy and timeliness.

Coordinate with customs authorities and government officials to address any regulatory issues.

Negotiate with freight carriers and logistics providers to secure favorable rates and terms.

Liaise with partners, suppliers, and customers regarding import-export matters.

Manage and control the department's shipping budget.

Collaborate closely with warehouse, procurement, and other departments to streamline logistics processes.

Ensure full compliance with legal regulations and internal company policies.

Provide regular reports to senior management on shipping activities and emerging issues.

Prepare and review customs documentation and ledgers.

Lead and supervise the shipping team, fostering teamwork and a positive work environment.

Work with the HR Manager to identify and develop high-potential employees.

Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and conduct training for new team members.

Define job descriptions and key performance indicators (KPIs) for all roles within the shipping department.

College degree or higher

Proficient in English

Minimum 5 years of experience in a Shipping Manager role at an FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) company, including at least 1 year in a managerial-level position within a garment/textile company.
