In 2008 I set up a limited company with my family. It offers financial advice in the UK.

I acted as both Financial Consultant and Business Analyst for this company. Hurleys Financial Solutions remains without complaint and a fully profitable company. Hurleys Financial Solutions is still now running in the UK and being fully managed by my family.

As an Independent Financial Adviser I dealt with high net worth clients discussing with and

advising them on their mortgage, investment and protection needs whilst also identifying all other financial requirements.

I placed and saw the relevant finance through to completion and also referred the clients and

organised meetings for them within other suitable organisations including Coutts private bank.

Computer Literacy   

In addition to the skills acquired in the degree, I am competent in using the following software packages: Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Power Point, WordPerfect, Goldmine and am familiar with the World Wide Web. I have also been designing web pages for the past year on Dreamweaver MX package.

 

Communication       

My employment experience has often placed me in situations where I have had to tactfully and effectively deal with a wide variety of clients, often under pressure and sometimes in difficult circumstances. I have the confidence to establish and maintain a good rapport with people and find it especially easy to put people at ease.

 

Analytical Skills       

Through regular practice during my mathematics degree I developed analytical skills of a high speed and accuracy. I am a conscientious thinker with a second to none attention to detail.

The analytical nature of my roles have frequently incorporated the use of software based tools to call and interpret financial data that can offer clients the optimal set of services.
