HSE Manager (Manufacturing)

Leadership & Compliance: Serve as a role model for safety awareness, ensuring adherence to OHS regulations, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 standards, and local laws.

Training & Development: Provide training for employees and contractors on safety practices, first aid, firefighting, and chemical handling.

Risk Management: Identify hazards, assess risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

Incident & Emergency Response: Investigate incidents, implement corrective actions, and maintain emergency preparedness plans.

Auditing & Inspections: Plan and conduct audits following the PDCA cycle; ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.

Supplier & Contractor Oversight: Monitor compliance with HSE standards across suppliers and contractors.

Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance HSE performance, including digitalization of workflows.

Communication & Reporting: Promote safety culture, report HSE performance to management, and liaise with regulatory authorities.

Budget & KPIs: Manage HSE budgets and track performance metrics to measure effectiveness.

External Audits: Represent the company during external audits and ensure readiness.

Education: University degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field. Certifications such as CSP, CIH, NEBOSH are a plus.

Experience: Minimum 3 years as HSE Manager or similar role, preferably in manufacturing/industrial settings.

Knowledge: Strong expertise in ISO 14001, ISO 45001, local OHS laws, and corporate HSE policies.
