Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Housekeeping Manager (Hospitality, Negotiable, ID16966):
- Provide professional support to the General Manager, ensuring the achievement of strategic goals and high guest satisfaction.
- Manage staffing, including recruitment, training, and maintaining a positive work environment and high service standards.
- Oversee the Housekeeping Department's budget, controlling costs without compromising guest comfort.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, fire and emergency procedures, and safety standards.
- Supervise housekeeping operations to maintain cleanliness, efficiency, and guest satisfaction across all hotel areas.
- Coordinate with other departments (Laundry, Engineering, Front Office) for smooth operations and room readiness.
- Monitor inventory of guest supplies, linens, uniforms, and cleaning materials; ensure proper ordering and storage.
- Conduct inspections, evaluate employee performance, provide training, and implement improvements based on guest feedback and industry standards.
- Handle lost and found items, master key control, and safety hazards.
- Ensure proper operation of guest services, including VIP room readiness, flower arrangements, and cleanliness standards.
- Support the hotel’s rehabilitation, uniform management for special events, and staff welfare initiatives.
- Act as Manager on Duty if required, overseeing the daily functioning of the hotel during peak times.
Requirement
- Male/Female
- Degree in Hotel Management or related field
- Minimum 2 years in a similar role in a 5-star deluxe hotel; at least 1 year in a comparable position
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, listening)
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping practices, including chemicals, floor care, carpet maintenance, and computer skills
