Job Description
Our client is a foreign invested manufacturing company, now looking for a Government Affairs & Legal Manager (Manufacturing, ID20103, 2300USD):
Government Relations & Regulatory Affairs
Government Relations & Regulatory Affairs
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with central and local government authorities.
- Represent the company in government-related matters and ensure company interests are reflected in policies where applicable.
- Manage corporate licenses and permits, including IRC, ERC, LURC, and other regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal departments to obtain approvals, permits, and necessary legal documentation.
- Ensure full compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Support and coordinate government inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.
- Identify legal risks and propose solutions to ensure business continuity.
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders such as industrial park authorities, associations, and industry partners.
- Coordinate company participation in government or public events.
- Prepare regular reports for management on regulatory updates and policy changes.
- Research and analyze the investment environment in Vietnam, including industry trends, infrastructure, and regional policies.
Requirement
- Male/Female, Under 50 years old
- Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Business Administration, Law, or related fields.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Government Affairs or Legal, with hands-on experience in both areas.
- Proven experience handling government licensing procedures (IRC, ERC, LURC), especially in Ba Ria – Vung Tau and Ho Chi Minh City.
- Experience working in multinational companies
- Strong experience in corporate legal matters and regulatory compliance.
- Good command of English (mandatory).
