Job Description
We are seeking a General Accountant in a dynamic hospitality environment:
- Maintain and update financial records for the hotel, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing.
- Reconcile accounts and monitor bank statements to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions.
- Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial projections for management review.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including preparation and filing of taxes (VAT, income tax, etc.).
- Monitor and review internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and financial reporting standards.
- Assist with the preparation for annual audits, liaising with external auditors as needed.
- Review and approve invoices, expenses, and payroll data to ensure consistency with financial guidelines.
- Provide financial analysis and advice to management, helping to inform decision-making and cost-saving strategies.
- Support in maintaining accurate records of fixed assets, depreciation, and inventories.
- Perform other ad hoc financial tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager or Senior Management.
Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the hospitality or service industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in English and Vietnamese
- Knowledge of hospitality financial operations is an advantage.
