Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Fusion Process Manager (Garment, $1.200, ID 17040):
-
Develop New Fusion Methods:
- Collaborate with the technical team to develop new fusion techniques and methods.
- Review and understand technical documentation and samples provided by the requesting department.
- Research and propose improvements to bonding methods, to determine an optimized approach within one day of receiving the request.
- Schedule discussions with the technical team to align on the best possible solution.
- Request design templates, materials, sewing processes, and reference samples for practical testing.
- Email test results with the technical team to update the department on new methods and processes.
- Create and maintain a central repository (KPM) for fusion-related files for the organization.
- Receive samples, technical documents, and process improvement requests from the technical team.
- Schedule discussions with the requesting technical team and R&D team to propose ideas, define solutions, and plan the implementation of process improvements.
- Continuously explore new bonding technologies by attending trade exhibitions, browsing social media platforms like YouTube, and visiting manufacturers both locally and internationally.
- Actively assist with troubleshooting and resolving fusion production issues as requested by the factories.
- Provide timely guidance to ensure smooth production processes and minimize disruptions.
- Allocate tasks to team members and monitor their daily progress, ensuring the completion of work according to the schedule and quality standards.
- Provide ongoing training and share knowledge and practical experience with each team member.
Requirement
- Male/ Female; 30 - 40 years old.
- A degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- 5 years working in the same position in the garment industry.
- In-depth knowledge of f\usion techniques such as thermal bonding, ultrasonic bonding, and adhesive bonding.
- Good at English.
