Electrical Project Manager (Offshore Cables)

Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Electrical Project Manager (Offshore Cables,$4000, ID 17064):
The Electrical Cable Project Engineer is responsible for overseeing the planning, design, installation, and maintenance of electrical cable systems for projects. The role involves ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Design:

   • Develop detailed plans for electrical cable systems based on project requirements.
   • Select appropriate types and specifications of cables and materials.
   • Design cable layouts, routes, and ensure efficient power distribution.

2. Project Management:

   • Monitor the progress of the project and ensure it adheres to deadlines.
   • Coordinate with other engineers, contractors, and teams to ensure smooth project execution.
   • Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

3. Quality Control:

   • Ensure that all materials and cable systems meet the required quality standards.
   • Conduct site inspections to verify the proper installation of cables and related equipment.
   • Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies during the installation process.

4. Technical Support and Troubleshooting:

   • Provide technical expertise and support during the installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
   • Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical issues related to cable systems.
   • Ensure proper maintenance and safety checks throughout the project lifecycle.

5. Safety and Compliance:

   • Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations, codes, and industry standards.
   • Promote safe working practices on-site and ensure team members are trained in safety protocols.

6. Reporting and Documentation:

   • Prepare detailed project reports, including progress updates, technical specifications, and compliance documents.
   • Maintain accurate records of installation activities, testing, and quality assurance procedures.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing electrical cable installation projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, cable types, and industry standards.
• Ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
