Job Description
Our client is a foreign invested company, currently looking for a Director of Finance (Hospitality):
1. Accounting & Financial Management
- Oversee the daily operations of the Finance Department.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and reporting activities.
- Analyze financial performance, prepare forecasts, and support investment decisions and contract negotiations.
- Ensure full compliance with local financial regulations and international accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and departmental goals.
- Maintain an effective organizational structure and collaborate with auditors and external stakeholders.
- Monitor internal controls across procurement, receiving, storage, issuing, food preparation, and portioning processes.
2. Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, train, and develop the finance team to meet business goals.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and manage leadership-level performance issues.
- Work closely with the Talent & Culture team to ensure effective hiring, coaching, and staff development.
- Organize regular departmental meetings to share updates, address concerns, and foster team engagement.
3. General Responsibilities
- Attend required meetings, briefings, and training sessions.
- Maintain high standards of personal grooming and hygiene.
- Be well-informed of hotel fire, life safety, and emergency protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirement
- Proven experience in pre-opening and operational phases of internationally recognized hotel brands.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior finance or accounting role; or at least 2 years in a comparable capacity.
- High level of professionalism and strong business acumen.
- Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and financial/accounting reporting systems.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
