Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Director of Finance (Hospitality):
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s goals and growth plans.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for the hotel or hospitality group.
- Prepare, review, and present accurate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to management.
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.
- Manage and lead the finance team, including accounting, payroll, and purchasing functions.
- Oversee internal controls to safeguard company assets and minimize financial risk.
- Coordinate audits with external auditors and implement audit recommendations.
- Collaborate with other department heads to optimize costs and enhance profitability.
- Support financial due diligence and analysis for investment or expansion projects.
- Stay updated on hospitality industry trends and financial best practices.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive financial management experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality financial operations, including revenue management, cost control, and budgeting.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems used in hospitality.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluency in English.
