1. Team Leadership & Talent Development
  • Ensure productivity, accuracy, and service quality across the team.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching & development plans.
  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training of team members.
  • Build a high-performing, customer-oriented team culture.
2. Customer Service & Operations Management
  • Supervise daily operations of Sea Freight shipments (Import & Export – focus on TP trade).
  • Oversee booking arrangements, slot allocation, and coordination with carriers/agents.
  • Monitor shipment milestones and proactively update customers on shipment status, schedule changes, pricing, free time, PO numbers, and related matters.
  • Handle escalated cases and resolve customer complaints effectively.
  • Ensure full compliance with SOPs, KPIs, and internal quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate system data entry and documentation.
  • Act as primary contact point for strategic and key accounts.
3. Process Optimization & Performance Management
  • Review and enhance Customer Service SOPs to improve operational efficiency.
  • Identify service gaps and propose workflow/system improvements.
  • Set up and monitor KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly management reports with analysis and actionable insights.
  • Analyze pricing structures, profitability, discount policies, win/loss ratios, and market performance.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, and other departments to ensure seamless execution.

Requirement

  • Male/Female, under 45 years old
  • Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade, International Economics, Maritime Transport, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar managerial position within forwarding, shipping, or logistics companies.  Minimum 3 years of experience handling Trans-Pacific (TP) trade lane.
  • Strong knowledge of Sea Freight operations and Customer Service management.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Strong leadership and people management capability.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
