Logo and brand image

The company name “Đăng Sơn” in Vietnamese means “light in the mountain”. According to Eastern philosophy, “light in the mountain” stands for fire and earth, two of five basic elements, and fire yield earth. The company name itself refers to immortality, evolution and stability.

Centre of the company logo is the 3 block icon in 3 colours red, dark grey and light grey. This icon is inspired from d shape (the first letter of the word “danson”) to emphasize the meaning of fire and earth together with its colours. With the same purpose, “danson” factor is demonstrated in two colours red and dark grey.

The slogan “Embrace Opportunities” is almost a further “layer” of meaning to the company name: We can embrace our opportunities once we believe in immortality, evolution and stability. As a media company, Danson could help to spot the opportunities with the creative power of media.

Also, the red tone conveys richness and good luck while the grey tone creates a harmony from stability.
