Job Description

Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Chief Operation Officer (Tourism, 3500$++, ID17805):
  • Develop, implement, and oversee operational policies, procedures, and activity plans for the executive division.

  • Approve and take responsibility for product plans, contracts, cooperation policies, and payment agreements with domestic and international partners.

  • Direct and coordinate operational service activities to ensure compliance with company procedures, quality, and standards.

  • Manage partnerships, handle arising issues, receive feedback and customer complaints, and make timely adjustments.

  • Monitor budgets, cost benchmarks, and debts to ensure efficient resource and financial usage.

  • Administer operational databases and oversee information systems related to tours, visas, customers, and tour guides.

  • Team development: Plan human resources, recruit, train, and evaluate employee performance.

  • Prepare periodic reports and execute other tasks assigned by the leadership board; ensure affiliated units operate effectively according to KPI targets.

Skills and Qualities:

  • Passionate and deeply knowledgeable about the company's field of operation; able to withstand high pressure and willing to travel frequently.

  • Progressive thinker with sharp, meticulous, and creative problem-solving skills; highly responsible and eager to learn.

  • Proficient in MS Office with strong data analysis, reporting, and information management abilities.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Logical and strategic mindset; capable of planning, organizing, team development, and time management optimization.

Requirement

  • Degree: Bachelor's or Master's.

  • Major: Tourism, Services, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.

  • Minimum of 10 years of industry experience, including at least 3 years in an equivalent executive management position.

  • Proficient in English (all four skills); knowledge of an additional foreign language is a plus.

  • Experience in cooperating and building relationships with domestic and international service partners.

  • Preference for candidates with strategic thinking ability, experience in multinational service management, or developing new business models.
