Job Description
Dream Job Alert! Become a Chief Accountant (Manufacturing, ID21357) at a foreign-invested company and earn $1300/month:
- Manage and oversee the entire accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions in accordance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and company policies.
- Supervise daily accounting activities, including invoice verification, accounts payable, fixed assets, tools and equipment management, account reconciliation, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
- Prepare, review, and submit all statutory reports, tax declarations, and financial statements in compliance with current regulations, including VAT, Corporate Income Tax, Personal Income Tax, and other relevant reports.
- Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and supporting documents while acting as the main contact point during tax inspections, audits, and other regulatory reviews.
- Manage VAT refund processes, tax finalization, transfer pricing documentation (if applicable), and maintain effective working relationships with tax authorities, banks, auditors, and other external parties.
- Establish and maintain effective costing systems for manufacturing operations, ensuring accurate product costing, inventory valuation, and cost allocation.
- Monitor manufacturing costs, material consumption, inventory movements, production losses, scrap, and abnormal variances, while working closely with Production and Logistics departments to improve cost efficiency and operational performance.
- Conduct periodic inventory counts and ensure consistency between physical inventory and accounting records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc financial and management reports, providing insightful analysis and recommendations to support business performance and management decisions.
- Oversee cash flow planning and monitoring to ensure sufficient liquidity while identifying potential financial, operational, and compliance risks.
- Act as the key user for ERP and accounting systems, ensuring effective utilization of finance modules, supporting system enhancements, and driving continuous process improvements.
- Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team, ensuring high standards of performance, accuracy, discipline, and confidentiality.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen internal controls, improve accounting procedures, and enhance overall financial governance.
Requirement
- Male/Female, Under 45 years old
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or related disciplines.
- Mandatory possession of a valid Chief Accountant Certificate.
- Minimum 5–7 years of accounting experience, including substantial experience as Chief Accountant within manufacturing and export-oriented FDI companies.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively with foreign stakeholders.
