Job Description

- Manage the overall Accounting and Finance operations, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
- Oversee General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure all accounting records, books, and financial reports comply with Vietnamese Accounting Law, Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS), and company policies.
- Perform the statutory responsibilities of the Chief Accountant in accordance with Vietnamese regulations.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as well as management reports and financial analyses.
- Coordinate group reporting and provide financial information to regional and headquarters finance teams.
- Manage all tax matters, including VAT, Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Personal Income Tax (PIT), Foreign Contractor Tax (FCT), and other statutory obligations.
- Ensure timely submission of tax declarations and maintain effective communication with tax authorities, auditors, and other regulatory agencies.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, monitor financial performance against budgets, and provide variance analysis and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain effective internal control systems, ensuring compliance with company policies and minimizing financial and operational risks.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, resolve audit findings, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, banking activities, and payment approval processes to ensure sound treasury management.
- Review contracts and business transactions from accounting, tax, and financial perspectives to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
- Support management with financial planning, business performance analysis, investment evaluation, and strategic decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including accounting process optimization, ERP enhancement, digitalization, and finance automation projects.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Finance & Accounting team while promoting a culture of accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Perform other finance and accounting responsibilities assigned by the General Director.
Requirement
- Male/Female, Under 45 years old
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related field.
- Valid Chief Accountant Certificate in accordance with Vietnamese regulations.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in General Accounting, including at least 2 years in a managerial role overseeing both Accounting and Finance.
- Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, or supply chain industries is highly preferred. Candidates from multinational companies with strong accounting and finance expertise may also be considered.
- Proven experience in budgeting, financial planning, financial reporting, internal controls, risk management, and business analysis.
- Experience working with auditors, tax authorities, and other government agencies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
- Fluent English in both written and spoken communication.
