Job Description

Our client is a foreign-invested company currently recruiting for the position of Bonding Senior Executive (Garment, $1500, ID 19817):
  • Lead and manage the bonding department to ensure smooth development and manufacturing operations, focusing on efficiency, line balancing, layouts, daily outputs, quality standards, and wash test compliance.

  • Develop, implement, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for both development and production processes.

  • Provide technical guidance in meetings on construction methods and bonding techniques.

  • Evaluate garment construction and select suitable adhesives during development to optimize quality and efficiency.

  • Calculate manpower and machinery requirements for bulk production using Standard Minute Value (SMV) methodology.

  • Coordinate with suppliers to maintain bonding machines and schedule necessary servicing.

  • Conduct testing and validate bulk production processes, identifying risks and ensuring quality control.

  • Manage laser cut developments and production requirements.

  • Initiate and oversee cost-saving trials, guiding teams to implement successful measures.

  • Source and validate new adhesives within the region to meet quality and performance standards.

  • Collaborate with embellishment suppliers to achieve strike-off quality standards and bulk production targets.

Requirement

  • Educational background in Garment & Textile, with at least 3 years of experience in Bonding Operations in garment manufacturing companies.

  • Proficiency in English across all four skills.

  • Strong commitment, responsibility, and analytical ability to manage departmental data and support management decisions.

  • Excellent teamwork, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage daily departmental operations in alignment with production demand and PCD.
