This will require the following secondary objectives to be addressed:
- Identification and documentation of safety challenges and current limitations together with relevant actors.
- Development of a methodology for producing safety cases for autonomous airside operations. Specification and implementation of data interfaces for exchange of information between autonomous vehicles and a safety management system.
- Algorithms for detection and classification of events based on input from multiple sensors mounted on autonomous vehicles and stationary positions.
- A certification process to define the role of Airside Innovation as a certification entity for the airside operations need to be defined.
