Job Description
Position Summary:
The Assistant Surveillance & Security Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the club's security and surveillance operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security management, risk assessment, and crisis management. This role requires leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure a safe and secure environment for employees, customers, and assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect company assets, employees, and customers.
- Conduct risk assessments, threat analyses, and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.
- Implement and maintain physical security measures, such as access controls, surveillance systems, and alarm systems, to prevent unauthorized access and ensure safety.
- Coordinate with external security agencies, law enforcement, and regulatory authorities to address security incidents, emergencies, and investigations.
- Train and educate employees on security protocols, emergency procedures, and crisis management to enhance security awareness and preparedness.
- Monitor security operations, including patrols, inspections, and incident response, to ensure compliance with policies and standards.
- Respond to security incidents, breaches, and emergencies in a timely and effective manner, following established protocols and procedures.
- Manage security personnel, contractors, and vendors, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of security incidents, investigations, and corrective actions taken to address security breaches and violations.
- Stay updated on security trends, technologies, and best practices to recommend and implement improvements to security programs and systems.
- Supervise the daily operations of the surveillance team, ensuring all areas are monitored effectively.
- Operate and monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras and access control systems, to detect suspicious activities.
- Ensure compliance with local gaming laws, internal controls, and company security policies.
- Review and analyze surveillance footage to investigate security incidents, gaming irregularities, or employee misconduct.
- Report any suspicious activities, security breaches, or rule violations to the Assistant Surveillance & Security Manager and relevant authorities.
- Assist in developing and implementing surveillance policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Provide training and guidance to Surveillance Officers to ensure proper monitoring techniques and procedures are followed.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of surveillance equipment, ensuring all systems function properly.
- Coordinate with security and law enforcement personnel in case of emergency or criminal activity.
- Prepare detailed reports on surveillance findings, incidents, and any operational concerns.
- Support the investigation of guest or staff complaints and provide evidence through surveillance footage.
- Ensure the confidentiality of surveillance operations and uphold integrity in all monitoring activities.
- Stay updated on new surveillance technologies, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.

Requirement
- Minimum Education: a degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field is an advantage.
- Experience: At least 3–5 years of experience in a surveillance or security role, preferably in the gaming or hospitality industry.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and gaming compliance regulations.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with gaming laws, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
- Leadership Ability: Experience supervising a team and providing on-the-job training.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to assess situations quickly, recognize suspicious activities, and take appropriate action.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and liaising with management and authorities.
- Ethical Conduct: Strong integrity and ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
- Flexibility: Ability to work on shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
