Hrchannels’ Client, a world leader in the production of innovative clothes that combine style, comfort and functionality, now is looking for a Senior IT Executive.
· Group IT Policy Implementation: Effectively communicate and implement IT policies as required by Group IT.
· Local IT Policy Formulation and Implementation. Formulate local IT policies to supplement Group IT policies to address unique local requirements and needs. Communicate and implement local IT policies effectively.
· Vendor Management: Develop vendor and product selection process to ensure the best value IT products and services are procured for the benefit of the Plant
IT Inventory Management
· Hardware and Software Inventory Management: Create, monitor, and update inventory list and licenses of the Plant’s hardware and software, to ensure that Plant’s IT assets are maintained and utilized. Ensure that only legal software are used.
· Inventory Planning: Conduct regular reviews on current inventory status and plan for in-time supplies if needed
· Budget and Cost Control: Create, monitor and control budget for all IT expenditures. Suggest and implement cost saving initiatives such as increasing hardware and software utilization, using recycled materials, etc.
IT Operations
· Network and Infrastructure Maintenance: Build, maintain, and support network equipment as standardized by Group IT.
· Server and System Administration: Maintain and administer servers and systems to ensure smooth operation of all IT systems and services.
· System Implementation: Assist in implementing Group-wide IT initiatives.
· Daily Operation: Carry out effective IT operations such as system monitoring and health check, system backup, and data archiving to ensure the Plant’s IT systems and services are operated at defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
· Improvement Initiatives: Regularly review performance of the Plant’s IT systems and services, and suggest improvements to meet and exceed defined SLA’s.
· New Technologies: Be aware of new innovations and development trends of IT systems and operations so as to identify opportunities to improve IT operational efficiency and end-user experience.
End-user Support
· Application and System Training: Organize and deliver training to end-users on the Plant’s IT systems and services.
· Cross-functional Support: Provide advice and support to IT-related projects, e.g. CCTV installation, which contribute to the Plant’s operational effectiveness. Provide information to support managerial decisions.
· Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and fix IT issues in a timely manner to ensure smooth end-user usage of IT systems and services. Identify problem root cause and advise management for improvement actions.
